The Yorkshire Post Feature

Well, September and October passed by in a whirl. They are my busiest months, I start Christmas prep in early September to make sure my soaps are properly cured in time to make lovely gifts for you.

A little update on an exciting turn in Oct…

In August I was contacted by a Journalist interested in doing a feature on my business for The Yorkshire post Magazine. I was asked a few questions which I answered and didn’t hear anything else from it.

Fast forward to October, the lovely journalist Sally Clifford got back in touch and asked if we could set a date to do an interview. We did this and shortly after a photographer came to my house to do a photoshoot (both exciting and mortifying!).

Yesterday 4th November the feature was published! West Riding Soapworks: The creative Yorkshire mum making up for lost time by selling natural soap (yorkshirepost.co.uk)

I don’t often say this but I’m so proud of myself, I’m proud of my little business and I’m proud to be a Yorkshire lass.

The support I have been given on this journey has been incredible. Its wonderful to hear your products make people happy and feel pampered.

I hope my article inspires other women that perhaps felt like they were not able to follow their dreams. To give it a try. You are never too old to do something you love.

I’m very thankful to The Yorkshire Post Magazine for their support. Proud to showcase my work to the whole of our amazing county.
